Building Unity Through Shared Prosperity

My fellow Somaliland people,
Today, I speak to you about a principle that defines the strength of our nation — unity through shared prosperity. A nation grows stronger not when a few succeed, but when every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.
For too long, our progress has been held back by division, inequality, and conflict. But we are proving that Somaliland’s greatest power lies in our togetherness — in our shared dreams, our shared work, and our shared future.
Our government is committed to ensuring that economic growth reaches every corner of our land — from our coastal towns to the heart of our countryside. We are investing in infrastructure, education, and job creation so that no Somali feels left behind.
Unity is not just about words; it is about fairness. It means ensuring equal access to opportunities, empowering women and youth, and respecting the rights of all communities. When everyone contributes, everyone benefits — and the whole nation rises together.
We are one people, bound by a common destiny. Let us continue to build bridges of understanding, cooperation, and hope. Our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our victory.
Together, we can transform our shared prosperity into lasting peace and progress for generations to come.
